To Our Precious, Little Baby Girl...

The hope for this blog is that we get to share with our daughter-to-be, family, and friends what is going on in our lives as we start getting prepared for her BIG DAY and arrival outside of the belly! It'll be a no-holds-barred attempt at our new experiences, challenges, and day-to-day life while our little "bun in the oven" continues to bake. At some point, we hope this will be a loving story for you, little girl, to look back on and hopefully will also be entertaining and educational to read! We love you, little monkey, and are so blessed to have you growing stronger and stronger every day! Love, Mom and Dad

"May You Always Be Blessed With Walls For The Wind, A Roof For The Rain, A Warm Cup Of Tea By The Fire, Laughter To Cheer You, Those You Love Near You, And All That Your Heart Might Desire!"

~Irish Blessing

Technically I suppose you can say I slept in an "extra" hour, but because of daylight savings, I still got the same amount of sleep as normal. It was nice to wake up whenever I wanted and have some breakfast with my husband. I even showed him how I knew where Peyton was located based on how lopsided my belly was, the hard and soft spots in my belly, and the lumps that I designated as hands, feet, back, buns, and head. It was kinda fun.

Next, I went to church-it felt good to be back because I was sick last weekend and missed it. It felt nice to see everyone again. Stopped at Target on the way home from church in search of something I didn't find. In the meantime, I DID have a conversation with my mom on the phone while browsing the store. Nice chatting with her! Came home to have a little snack with Tony (frozen chicken marsala mix) before heading to Andrea's house for her passions party. I was surprised that more people weren't there, but it was nice to have some hot cocoa and visiting with people.

When I got home, Tony and I watched a few episodes of Fringe on the computer, I made chocolate chip cookies, completed my kick chart homework with Peyton, took a shower, and now I'm trying to get ready for bed. What a nice relaxing weekend at home! Excited that the weather will cool off this week!

So blessed to have amazing friends and family who check in on us and our baby girl! We are so loved! Praying for you all tonight and grateful for all you do for us!
