To Our Precious, Little Baby Girl...

The hope for this blog is that we get to share with our daughter-to-be, family, and friends what is going on in our lives as we start getting prepared for her BIG DAY and arrival outside of the belly! It'll be a no-holds-barred attempt at our new experiences, challenges, and day-to-day life while our little "bun in the oven" continues to bake. At some point, we hope this will be a loving story for you, little girl, to look back on and hopefully will also be entertaining and educational to read! We love you, little monkey, and are so blessed to have you growing stronger and stronger every day! Love, Mom and Dad

"Temperatures Will Rise And Fall. Winds Will Shift. Leaves Will Drop And Buds Will Form. And With Every Transition New Beginnings Will Be Revealed."

~Unknown

Hooray, the weather for this week seems to be looking more like we're heading into the fall season! I am so excited! Today Ant had off (and luckily he was home so we could schedule a special lawn treatment AND get our kitchen lighting/wiring looked at) so I was alone getting up this morning...but at least I was able to sleep until 6am.

The new nanny family had out of town visitors this weekend that I got to visit with this morning while at work. J and M loved meeting their cousin Julia and visiting with their Uncle Mike, Grammy and Grampy! Boys had a really good day of healthy eating AND sleeping! It was such a nice day all around!

It took a little longer than normal to get home today because someone had stalled in the middle of a two lane road in the lane I was in. When I got home, we were surprised with a few things in the mail! We got an ADORABLE baby shower invite that Nicole is organizing for us... How PERFECT is this invite?!?

Thanks, Nicole...couldn't have picked out a better invite, myself!
Thank you ALSO for throwing us the shower! Can't wait!
We also got a thank you card for a wedding gift. Another surprise was we got a settlement check for a class action suit that Tony's work had back a few months and our settlement was slightly more than expected (don't think we won a landslide amount or anything, but hey, a hundred bucks is a hundred bucks...).

Tony and I worked together making a tender chicken fillet rub, sautéed veggies, and a salad for dinner. It was so good and I always love time in the kitchen working with my man! I finished off the night with some fresh chocolate chip cookies. Gotta run as I am trying to catch Nicole on the 10pm news talking about the sewer price increase we should be expecting here (boo!) due to a new state mandate about sewer being pumped into the river needing to now meet "drinking water" standards-read: INCREASED COST!

Can't wait for the baby shower, to see everyone, and to show everyone our new house~and by then I should have the nursery pretty well set! PLUS, by the time of the shower, we will have our 3D/4D ultrasound results back and will be able to show everyone some nice pictures of our baby girl! It'll be as good as we can get to meeting our little princess! Peyton, I could feel you doing somersaults in Mom's belly and twisting around a lot today! You were definitely busy all day!

Took some more medicine for my back, have the heating pad warmed up, and Channel 13 News tuned in. Feel so blessed to have such amazing friends today! Thank you Nicole for taking care of us! We love you!

Excited for more cool weather!
