To Our Precious, Little Baby Girl...

The hope for this blog is that we get to share with our daughter-to-be, family, and friends what is going on in our lives as we start getting prepared for her BIG DAY and arrival outside of the belly! It'll be a no-holds-barred attempt at our new experiences, challenges, and day-to-day life while our little "bun in the oven" continues to bake. At some point, we hope this will be a loving story for you, little girl, to look back on and hopefully will also be entertaining and educational to read! We love you, little monkey, and are so blessed to have you growing stronger and stronger every day! Love, Mom and Dad

"My Idea Of Christmas, Whether Old-Fashioned Or Modern, Is Very Simple: Loving Others. Come To Think Of It, Why Do We Have To Wait For Christmas To Do That?"

 ~ Bob Hope

Logan's handmade gift for Tony...a garden stone...so awesome! Thanks, Logan!

Our table all decorated for Christmas.

Our mantle, full of holiday cards and letters and love from friends and family.

One of the cutest cards I've ever seen!

Christmas care package from the Wippermans: guide ideas for our Hawaii trip at the end of February, a pre-made scrapbook for Hawaii from Mom, a tub full of homemade cookies and party mix from Mom, and a Baby's First Christmas rattle ornament-what a yummy, fun, and sweet gift! Thank you Mom and Dan!

Bean-less Texas Chili (made with ground turkey) and served with fresh corn bread muffins-mmm...good rainy day food!
Another day full of Braxtons, feeling all stretched out from the constant muscle contractions and from Peyton's non-stop moving, a little more holiday decorating, Wheel of Fortune playing, a little cooking, working for an hour and a half this afternoon, measured the house to get a laminate pergo quote (just curious), took a bunch of recycling to trade in for CRV (epic waste of time, to be hopefully fixed tomorrow morning), uploading a lot of pictures and updating facebook, filling in the last few items in the pre-birth section of Peyton's baby album, took a shower, trimmed my fingernails and cuticles, wrapping of Tony's mom's birthday present, hanging out with Tony, and mail package opening.

I'm tired now so maybe I'll come back tomorrow and embellish a little on today's events...just wanted to get the broad strokes in before heading to bed. Electric blanket is warmed up and our Friends DVD is already rolling...my eyelids are getting heavy. Good night!
