Sad to wake up to an empty bed, but excited to have Tony come home today! At work, I got the opportunity to take the kids to a pottery painting store with the mom's group. J painted an adorable gingerbread ornament for his parents for Christmas-he loved painting. M spent half of the time discovering how loud he could make his voice go and the other half he was passed out. I think that's his version of "enjoying" the pottery experience. Afterwards, it was your typical work afternoon with the boys.
After work, I stopped off at the mom's group organizer's house to pick up a few items she was donating to us for baby Peyton. She lent us her baby swing/rocker and baby bath. What a great set of friends we have. We are so blessed.
Stopped off back at home to visit with Tony before heading to our small group meeting tonight at Meghan's house. I'm glad I decided to stop at home because I really missed Tony and it was nice to spend an hour with him before leaving again. I'm also glad that I joined the book discussion/small group because these people are so nice, open, trusting, loving, and insightful. It helped me get even more out of my reading experience and I look forward to seeing them at church on Sunday AND seeing them at our next small group meeting!
When I got home tonight, I chatted with Tony, cut his hair, took a shower, and here I am...
Sorry to not embellish (although, that is probably EXACTLY what you want and it is I who struggles with getting to the point and moving on), but I want to crawl in bed and cuddle with my husband!
Hope you have a great night! Love and hugs all around and special prayers for those of you struggling with silent battles. Keeping you in my thoughts!

We lovingly refer to the little girl in our belly as Monkey. Our little girl takes a lot out of her mom's memory, so this is a good way to capture each day, each treasure, and each memory as it unfolds to save it for later and to share with everyone.
To Our Precious, Little Baby Girl...
The hope for this blog is that we get to share with our daughter-to-be, family, and friends what is going on in our lives as we start getting prepared for her BIG DAY and arrival outside of the belly! It'll be a no-holds-barred attempt at our new experiences, challenges, and day-to-day life while our little "bun in the oven" continues to bake. At some point, we hope this will be a loving story for you, little girl, to look back on and hopefully will also be entertaining and educational to read! We love you, little monkey, and are so blessed to have you growing stronger and stronger every day! Love, Mom and Dad
