To Our Precious, Little Baby Girl...

The hope for this blog is that we get to share with our daughter-to-be, family, and friends what is going on in our lives as we start getting prepared for her BIG DAY and arrival outside of the belly! It'll be a no-holds-barred attempt at our new experiences, challenges, and day-to-day life while our little "bun in the oven" continues to bake. At some point, we hope this will be a loving story for you, little girl, to look back on and hopefully will also be entertaining and educational to read! We love you, little monkey, and are so blessed to have you growing stronger and stronger every day! Love, Mom and Dad

"At One Glance I Love You With A Thousand Hearts."

~Hatun

Oh, dear, sweet, little baby girl, I keep thinking of how cute you were in the ultrasound pictures. I am so excited to meet you even though I feel like I already know you. It's amazing how many times a day I cuddle my belly and think of how truly blessed we are to have a daughter! You already make us so happy and bring big smiles to our eyes and hearts! We love you little girl! Just keep making sure you're growing and staying healthy...we're doing the best we can to help you!

Work kept me busy today. Went to an hour long "music makers" class with the boys (that turned into an hour and a half because of the organizer being a bit late), dropped off some books at the library, picked up a package for their mom at the post office, grabbed some McDonald's for a "on the road" lunch, went grocery shopping, gave both boys baths, and made an enchilada casserole for the family for their dinner. Got off on time today-hooray-and was rewarded with another bonus of Anthony getting home at the same time as me. Although he has been doing online homework since he got home, it's nice to spend time with him!

Made some brown rice, steamed veggies, and honey mustard chicken for dinner tonight-very filling but very tasty. Have been online researching a few things and also filled out a request for a permanent vote-by-mail status as the latest encounter with the polls had me less than impressed.

Tony promised me that he'd let me clip his nails (I don't know why, but I always enjoy that and it is relaxing-especially because it means I have his undivided attention, too!) while we watch an episode or two of Fringe tonight. With that said, I would've preferred to watch last night's episodes of Parenthood or Glee on Hulu, but I can't locate them-perhaps they were not on last night due to elections, who knows.

So now it is time to get some dishes done quickly and then turn on Fringe and get out the clippers. Excited for another night in a row of a normal bedtime! Hopefully the outcome of the elections will result in a change for the better for California!

Good night, and sweet dreams!
